How do Post Logistics labels work?
As soon as you complete your Booking Order, your labels will be generated automatically. These labels will include all the relevant details of your shipment. You will receive your order confirmation email and this will include a copy of the labels. Print the labels, making sure that they are legible and contain all the correct information. Affix the Post Logistics labels securely to the pallet(s) in a visible and easy to scan position.
TopWhile labels can only be printed for confirmed orders, they can however, be reprinted as often as required for that particular shipment. Not only do you receive labels with your confirmation order email but you can also log in to your Post Logistics account and print additional copies of the labels.
We recommend that you print your labels on A4 or A6 sheets of paper. Please ensure your printed shipping labels are securely affixed on one side of each pallet. If you are using a packing slip, place it on the same surface of the pallet as the shipping label. Do not place the label over a seam or closure or on top of sealing tape. Remove all old labels from the pallet.
It is recommended practice to place a duplicate of the label or other form of identification inside your consignment.
Our personnel will not collect any pallets which do not have a Post Logistics label attached.
TopThe transport of certain goods by way of the Post Logistics service is prohibited. Prohibited goods include the following;
Please refer to our ‘Terms and Conditions’ for a full list of prohibited items.
TopOur online tracking system enables you to track your consignment to anywhere in the UK or Europe in real-time. The unique reference number you receive in your confirmation email is your official tracking number for each pallet being delivered.
Your shipment is safe in the hands of Post Logistics with full transparency from door to door.
Pallets must be no bigger than the maximum dimensions of width 120cm x length 100cm x height 210cm and weight 1000kg.
The customer is responsible for ensuring that their goods have been made safe for transportation. We do not offer advice on packaging material as each product is different and each customer knows their own goods best. All products must be palletised with no overhanging as this could result in damage to the goods.
TopIn Europe, liability of road transportation service providers is always limited by governing regulations regarding loss, damage or material delay. N*B** These limitations are often not representative of the actual value of the goods.
As our pricing does not include insurance, we strongly recommend that each Customer has insured its pallets prior to collection to the full value of the merchandise either by sourcing cargo insurance through a Broker or by requesting an independent quote from our partner DB Schenker’s insurance solution, which is available to you during your online booking insurance. If you select the latter option, you will be contacted directly by a DB Schenker representative.
